Tallie
wrapped her arms around his neck. Their tongues met, and liquid heat dripped
down her spine. Yes, it had been a long time since she’d been with a man—but
she didn’t remember it feeling like this the last time.

The air
around them was cold, but the heat sizzled between them. Tallie didn’t know how
long they kissed, but when he pulled away, she lacked the ability to stand on
her own. Thankfully, he didn’t let her go.
“You ready
to go inside?” he asked.
“Yes,” she
told him, feeling dazed and excited all at once. “I’m definitely ready.”
He grinned.
